Hard- and Soft-core are very fuzzy definitions. I prefer a modified Meese scale (0-4; the lower the number, the harder the core):

Class 4 -- simple frontal nudity; genitalia may or may not be visible, but not in action. Spectrum from and to artistic nudity, depending on intention and reaction of viewer.

Class 3 -- basic hetero-sex; meat in motion, but nothing else. Spectrum from "erotica", depending on other contents.

Class 2 -- "degrading" or "unnatural" acts; this ends up the most debated, i.e. what constitutes unnatural or degrading? Usual fight is over whether simple homo-sex is Class 2 or 3.

Class 1 -- "violently degrading or unnatural"; usually refers to heavy-duty kink.

Class 0 -- "Beyond the Pale" or "Beyond Class 1"; usual examples are kiddie & snuff porn.

I’m glad you cleared that up. I hope your clarification appeases the /expletive deleted/ in legal who have nothing better to do than split hairs and justify thier jobs.

i know christians take a huge hit on hypocrisy. 1) well, because there is a lot of hypocrisy out there and 2) because people want an excuse to not take the person of Jesus Christ serious. but i’ve never believed that hypocrisy is limited to just a sect or religion. this shows how deep hypocrisy runs in our culture and our species. yes? no?
