What An Honor

Categories:Donny Pauling, Soldiers

Craig Gross, one of the pastor’s of xxxchurch.com, called this morning and asked if I’d be up for taking a short hop to Afghanistan to speak to the troops. Are you kidding me? Of course I’m up for that! What an honor to be able to visit our troops in a combat zone, much less speak to them.

I’m looking forward to this. Right now it looks like the trip will take place in May.

Wow!

(edit: Craig emailed me with the final date. We’ll be there May 19th for a week. NICE!)

I don’t mean this as a “word from the Lord”, but check out the first part of Galations. Paul talks about spending 15 years in the desert before he started his ministry.I would trust those who counsel you to take time before doing a lot of ministry. Beware of those who want to use your story to support their own ego or for their own gain. I agree with anonymous. God can use you in mighty ways. But He is not is a hurry.
