Donny,
I'm relatively new to reading your blog- I really only came to it because of something I saw on XXXChurch, which I love. I remember hearing about your story a while ago, maybe when you'd first come to the Lord, though. Anyway, I saw your first prayer in this entry, and my heart just goes out to you. We have completely different stories and situations, but our prayers seem to be the same in the one area of trying to/ wanting to let go of someone from our past. Unfortunately, though I beg for separation (and God did provide it in the past), my person keeps creeping up, and I hate it. It's like my prayers are ignored, and I can't understand. But I see your faith, and how easy it is for you to praise God for even the very small steps in a "favorable direction", and that is all very hope-giving to me. Thank you so much for your candid offerings here. You are blessing others in ways you'd never imagine! What an awesome testimony of grace and love you are!

writing is great therapy. i blogged before, during, and after my pregnancy on myspace. i'm really glad that i did so that my daughter can later read what was on my mind while she was in my tummy. but i also copied the posts to Word because i'm always worried that myspace will go down and i'll lose my entries. do you have your writing saved elsewhere? blogspot might be safer than myspace, though. myspace is always having "technical difficulties".

Don't be so quick to say that it wasn't God who answered your prayer. :)

I love you, man. Haven't met you and might never- but I've read most of your blogs and I'm excited to see where the journey of your life is going to lead you...
